I have loved and worked with horses from early on in my life, but my outlook on them changed when I was given Blaze. He was half blind, skittish, and formerly abused. After fighting to keep his sight for many years, he lost both eyes due to inflammation and pain. Now, after 10 years together, he is missing both eyes, he is comfortable in his own skin, and we are happily employed as trail guides together. I couldn’t have asked for a better horse for me!
